Specific humidity, humidity ratio or moisture content:

It is the mass of water vapour present in 1 kg of dry air (in the air-vapour mixture) and is generally expressed in g/kg of dry air. It may also be defined as the ratio of mass of water vapour to the mass of dry air in a given volume of the air-vapour mixture.

It states, "The total pressure exerted by the mixture of air and water vapour is equal to the sum of the pressures, which each constituent would exert, if it occupied the same space by itself".
